How do you manage to create something so balanced musically? We're happy to share this recipe with you - take a singer, grand piano, acoustic bass and tuba, tenor banjo and guitar, percussion, two saxes/clarinet, trumpet, trombone and a lovely violin._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_
Since 2003, DENIS WITTBERG AND HIS SCHELLAC-SOLOISTEN have ensured that dance and popular music from the 1920s and 1930s is becoming ever more popular. Anyone who has ever enjoyed the visual and acoustic pleasure knows with what ease these pieces are performed and what irony comes to light.
This ensemble, adopted in Mainz, can look back on numerous nationwide guest performances, television and radio appearances. You have produced numerous recordings, with the latter not only featuring hits from the 20s and 30s, but also hits from the "NEUEN DEUTSCHE WELLE" from the early 80s, as if they were made in the 20s - but by no means sound outdated.
